Nisha Baig is an Associate Lawyer at Progressive Legal Solutions, where she practices exclusively in family law litigation. Before joining PLS, Nisha completed a placement at the Ontario Court of Justice through the Integrated Practice Curriculum program, working closely with seven judges over four months, researching intricate legal issues, contributing to written decisions, and developing a firsthand understanding of how cases are assessed from the bench. That judicial perspective informs how she prepares every file and advocates for every client, whether at a case conference or a contested motion. She focuses in particular on complex property matters involving high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and owner-operators whose financial structures require thorough analysis and where a careful eye for detail in the evidence can prove decisive.
Nisha thrives in the courtroom. She approaches litigation with thorough research, strong instincts, and a steadiness that does not waver when things get complicated. Her background in criminal law, where cases move quickly, and details matter enormously, sharpened her ability to think on her feet and advocate decisively under pressure.
