SENIOR FAMILY LAW LAWYER Evgeniy Osipov

Evgeniy Osipov has been practicing exclusively in the area of family law since his call to the Bar. He articled at the Family Responsibility Office (FRO) and continues to represent FRO as a panel lawyer. Since the beginning of his legal career, Evgeniy managed to build a busy practice dealing not only with the issues of parenting time and decision-making (access and custody as it was called in the past) but also with issues arising out of parent/child relocation.

Evgeniy is experienced with sophisticated issues relating to property claims of married and common-law spouses. He regularly deals with issues such as: division of assets, equalization, claims of interest in property not owned by one of the spouses, as well as child support (including arrears) and spousal support claims.

Not every family lawyer has trial experience. However, Evgeniy Osipov is no stranger to trials and usually has scheduled multiple trials during each trial sitting period. His trial experience allows Evgeniy to see the big picture of each case, allowing him to be able to advise clients of their potential risks and expenses associated with trial, while at the same time being confident in his own skills and abilities to conduct a trial if needed.

Evgeniy has experience successfully defending a decision in the Ontario Court of Appeal. PLS has all the required resources and experience to represent clients at every level of court in Ontario including the Court of Appeal.
Thanks to its strong administrative support and the experienced team of people that Evgeniy works with, PLS is able to meet the demanding requirements that your matter will be subject to for each step required in litigation, trial or an appeal.
