STRONGLY recommend you read this.
THIS Is the ONLY Law firm I have found after around half a dozen consults in barrie that will speak WITH you. This is not your average law firm who is going through the motions and going to “tell you how this works” while they bill you hours. Right from the intake with Allie who LISTENED to what I NEEDED to the lawyer they put me in touch with who is just amazing. They are upfront and fair about their costs. You want to be spoken WITH and not AT? You want someone who is at least going to hear you out? This is who you call.

I worked with Evgeniy and Kim through a very acrimonious, protracted divorce, made even harder by opposing counsel’s unnecessary hostility. Evgeniy was the 4th lawyer I enlisted in the 13 years it took to finally resolve all outstanding issues in the settlement dispute. I found Evgeniy when my previous lawyer gave up their practice while we were preparing for trial and, despite an impending trial date and a voluminous file to become familiar with in such a short time frame, he took on the case.

Not only was he able to effectively negate the demand that I pay a life-altering amount over and above our previously agreed to payments, he successfully advocated that child support was properly owed to when our shared parenting arrangement shifted to full-time parenting time in my care.

To know that you have such a strong and knowledgeable advocate working with you on your behalf lightens the burden immensely and I can’t state what a mental relief that brings. Every step and each option was clearly explained. The mix of compassion and strong advocacy helped me stay grounded during a difficult process.

I rarely write reviews and especially those of such a personal matter, but Evgeniy and his team really deserve the accolades you see here. Han Xie is amazing and she and her colleges are angels sent from heaven!!! She helped me within 24 hours with filling a emergency motion to return my son from the father that didn’t want to return the little guy, only 4 years old to me… from the begging of consultation she went right to the process of getting my son back! Han stayed at work after hours at work just to get the motion done and help me and my kid! These people are amazing and especially Han is so compassionate that I would recommend this woman to help you with any family matters because she is so dedicated and very caring that is amazing that there is still people like that out there!!!

Trust me on this , I needed a miricle . I've been in and out of family court for the past 10 years with high conflict
Cases over and over again, I have dealt with many lawyers in my time, and nothing comes even close to my experience with this firm . I found Mr . Osipov
2 months prior to a ten day trial after my lawyer left me high and dry . I was completely doomed , mentally and financially bankrupt and about to lose my children . I found an angel... He took my case in blind and gave me some faith and an incredible fighting chance , My file was nothing short of a complete disaster. Everything was filed incorrectly. I would have lost everything by default. The other party was extremely controlling and difficult to work with ... I had zero chance at all getting through any of this without Mr. Osipov .. My losses would have been great and devestating to me and my children . This was a high conflict trial with 10 years of material and moutains of court documents , i was broken and defeated . Mr Osipov cleaned up my file , in record timing , managed to cut trail and costs in half !!!! He's hard working , quick thinking , highly educated straight to the point, no drama incredibly empathetic . He pulled off an absolute miracle, and the impossible was done . What a difference in experience from my past lawyer. Evginey is straight up and to the point. Doesn't waste your money or try to fight for things he knows is not going to be won. He will straight up tell you it is going to cost you more than its worth. A very efficient and reasonable lawyer. I wish I had him from the beginning. I would have saved sooooo much stress, time, and money. A senior lawyer that knows his stuff. I can be a bit excitable, especially when speaking of my past with experience with the ex. and he can zone me in and bring me back to what is needed and not get off track. Evginey has done more in 6 months than the other lawyer did in 1.5 years. He also doesn't put up with the bullying tactics from my exes lawyer. Highly recommend.

I want to leave a review for my lawyer Evgeniy Osipov. Before Eugene, I had four lawyers and my court case in the family court did not move at all for 5 years, and all my previous lawyers simply dragged out my case even more to get even more money from me. But Evgeniy is the only lawyer who really helped me. Eugene will really try to find a solution for you even in the situation which seems hopeless, and he is also an honest lawyer who will try to save your nerves and money so that you remain calm during the trial and do not have stress. Don't hesitate to call Evgeniy Osipov, if you feel you stuck in the family court, or you feel confusion and don't know what to do.

I am kind of an expert on family lawyers as I have cycled through 5 firms and lawyers within the past 3 years. I wish that I had found Evgeniy from the start of this horrific separation experience. I would’ve saved so much time and money and I am confident that my issues would have been resolved within the first year. I actually wanted to hold off on a review because I wanted to keep his focus on myself but since he has now successfully settled my matter entirely, I suppose that I can let everyone else have him. If you need a family lawyer that is fair, genuine, honest and values your family’s best interests, look no further. He goes up against the “sharks” and puts them in their place and he is also very well respected within the judges circles for Barrie and York region. He doesn’t over charge like EVERYONE else. In a world where your often treated like a number, a time when kindness is in short supply and unfortunate situations seem to just find the best of people. Evgeniy and his wonderful wingwoman Kim (Family Law Clerk) are an unstoppable team who made a debilitating time in my life as positive and successful as possible.

I found myself in a situation where I was contacted by a lawyer via email who was representing my ex suggesting I obtain a lawyer immediately! So my hunt for the best began and the best I ended up finding thank goodness as I did not know a thing about anything regarding the legal system or what I was in for. As a single dad who was in a strapped financial situation with what felt like the weight of world on my shoulders Progressive Legal Solutions was there!

They kept me informed, provided knowledgeable advice, processed what was needed when necessary while being cost efficient to me. He is everything you would want in a lawyer, professional, compassionate, organized, personable, punctual and his overall insight, honesty and work ethic got me my desired results and more though I didn’t even start the legal battle I was in.

I hope he doesn’t mind me saying but he is a son of a wrestling champion and he was also trained by an Olympian boxing medalist. Evgeniy was honest and realistic from the start, he was very clear about expectations and best/worst case scenarios. My issue was resolved efficiently and he even discouraged me from fighting needlessly which saved me a great deal of money which would have otherwise gone to him. The options for remote or in person meetings was very helpful, and much time was saved by using electronic secure file sharing. Lost one star for some initial communication issues that had me on edge but were eventually resolved, but I would definitely use PLS again.

Mr. Osipov is the best lawyer in barrie hands down. He has assisted me with my family law case and was more then great. If you want a lawyer that will fight for you regardless of anything, Mr. Osipov is the one you want. As a single dad trying to get full custody, when I thought everything was against us. He is very good at dealing with stressful situations and was very good at comforting me throughout the entire process. I have been to other lawyers and actually dropped a couple, but when I found Mr. Osipov I knew right away he was the guy to take this case on even though It looked unbeatable. Highly recommend, very professional and I don't think I've met a lawyer more dedicated. If I ever need help in the future I won't hesitate to use him again.
